During 2006-2007, Double Vision Development focused their efforts on developing a 12,000 square foot pre-vocational site. Upon completion, a variety of learning and work activities were available to special needs individuals. In addition to a print shop where cards and memo pads are created and a ceramics room where a variety of seasonal craft items are assembled, there is a contract room where packages of garbage bags are compiled. The site has a fully functional wood working shop where decorative crafts, such as benches and cabinets are made. The
instructors deliver a structured environment where new skills and reinforcing activities are provided. In 2008, a second pre-vocational site was completed. The 10,000 square foot structure contains a professional grade greenhouse where contracts with local commercial greenhouses can be fulfilled, a print shop where greeting cards and fliers are produced, a ceramics room for the production of craft and gift items, and a contract room for the assembly of products. Areas for life skills have also been provided.
